General McLane rolls Warren on Homecoming
The Warren High football team hosted General McLane on Friday evening and were defeated by the Lancers 58-0.
The annual Homecoming Game brought in a packed crowd on what was a beautiful evening for Friday night lights.
The Lancers came out hot from the gates and put tons of pressure on the Dragons, forcing three-and-out after three-and-out. McLane’s offense was a sheer powerhouse through the night, putting up 463 yards on the ground and in the air.
The Dragons did get the ball into Lancer territory on multiple occasions, but could not convert any drive into points.
Warren freshman quarterback Parker Kiser went 3 for 7 with 23 yards through the air, caught twice by Aiden Egger for 13 yards and Charlie Blum for 10 yards. Egger led the Dragons rushing with 15 carries for 37 yards.
The Dragons look to bounce back next Friday when they travel to Oil City for a 7 p.m. varsity kickoff.
