Bradford handed Warren a 3-0 nonregion girls soccer loss Monday at War Memorial Field.

The Owls Bradford got their revenge from a 2-1 double-overtime loss to the Dragons earlier in the season.

Despite controlling possession for the vast majority of the game and having numerous chances, Warren could not find the back of the net Monday.

Meea Irwin unleashed an aerial attack consistently throughout the game, taking shot after shot from beyond the goalie box at 18-plus yards. She had many near-misses that included hitting both side posts and a few others that just sailed over the crossbar.

Warren’s Lani Wenzel and Leyna Irwin also made many good runs at the goal but could not convert.

Leading 1-0 at half, the Owls scored a penalty kick 14 minutes into the second half. Bradford completed the revenge game and sealed the deal when they scored from 22 yards out with just 42 seconds left in the game.

Starting at $3.50/week.
