Hailey Cabisca served very well for Warren with five aces. The kills department was led by Madelyn Nosel and Attie Corey, each contributing 14. Cabisca added nine kills and Lilly Newton notched five.

Malysia Sorensen had 11 digs with Nosel having six. Cabisca and Nosel each added a block. Brynn Norris had another great game with 34 assists and Peyton Cabisca added four herself. Sorensen contributed 2.

“The offense looked good tonight,” Warren head coach Mike Dolan said. “Brynn Norris and Peyton Cabisca did a nice job distributing the ball to all the hitters for a balanced attack. Attie Corey, Madelyn Nosel and Hailey Cabisca all had some big swings. Brooke Sherry played well at a different position than she is used to as we are dealing with a couple of injuries.”

In junior varsity play, the Dragons also defeated the Trojans 26-24, 13-25, 15-10.

Maddy Snell had 13 digs and two assists with Lara Pearson adding four aces, nine kills and four digs. Tia French got five digs. Kendall Skerda completed four kills with Michaela Dolan contributing an ace, five digs and 24 assists. Kelsey Johnson had a nice match with an ace, six kills and four digs, and Adelaide Keeports had an ace, two kills and four digs. Rounding out the Dragons were Grace Schwab with an ace and three kills, and Addison Brown notching five kills and six digs.

The Dragons host Fort LeBouef next Tuesday at Warren Area High School for a 6 p.m. jayvee start with varsity to follow at 7:15.
