WARREN — The Warren girls tennis team swept Elk County Catholic on Wednesday.
“Overall, we were happy with the quick rebound and were impressed with how the girls played tonight,” Dragons head coach Thomas Pellegrino said. “This was their third match in a row and it only continues (today) as they take on Erie High at Betts for their fourth straight match this week.”
At first singles, Warren’s Lucy Harrison earned a 6-0, 6-1 sweep.
Alannah Garza won her second-singles match 6-2, 6-1.
Grace Carlson won 6-1, 6-1 at third singles.

Sarah Harvey and Scotlynn Perry were first-doubles winners 6-2, 6-2.
Finally, Brady Caudill and Olivia Romanosky picked up a 6-1, 6-3 victory at second doubles.
The Dragons are now 6-4 overall and look to notch another win today when they host Erie with a 4 p.m. start time.

CATHEDRAL PREP SWEEPS
ERIE — On Tuesday, Warren dropped a Region 2 contest 5-0 at Cathedral Prep.
Paige Patsy, Finleigh Hannzel and Ella Fetzner won singles matches for the Ramblers while Katie Kuhar teamed up with Eliza Kalmer and Lydia Beuchert teamed up with Elizabeth Hutchinson for doubles victories.
The Dragons fell to 5-4 overall and 2-4 in the region.
