KANE — The Warren junior varsity girls volleyball team traveled to Kane on Saturday for its annual tournament. The long day was rewarding as the Dragons didn’t drop a game to take home the gold.

In pool play, the squad was undefeated via victories versus St. Marys (25-20, 25-19), Punxsutawney (25-13, 25-15), Elk County Catholic (25-17, 25-22) and Otto Eldred (25-11, 25-18).

The semifinals saw the Dragons narrowly escape a tough Ridgway Elkers team by a score of 25-22. Looking to get revenge, Warren had a rematch against Elk County Catholic in the championship match. The Dragons doubled down and defeated the Crusaders 30-22 in the finals, securing the tournament victory for the third year in a row.
