RUSSELL — Warren’s jayvee boys hosted the McDowell Trojans at Cable Hollow Golf Course on Wednesday for an 18-hole match.
McDowell shot a team score (top five scores per team) of 433, while Warren Blue shot a 438 and Warren White shot a 491.
Representing Warren Blue were Aaron Shene (81), Sebastian Lawson (82), Isaac Neal (90), Landon Snell (90), Logan Crissey (95), Carson Britt (117), Matthew Franklin (120) and Jacob Zaffino (126).
On Warren White were Bradey Chase (94), Jude Gatto (97), Colin Zdarko (98), Lincoln Olsen (99), Dehklund Conklin (103), Wyatt Wilson (116) and Leo Westover (131).
“Today was a great day to get the jayvee squad some match experience,” Warren head coach Nate Sandberg said. “Some of these kids will be in the starting lineup sometime throughout their career, so it is crucial they not only get play time, but understand how competitive matches work and what is expected of them.”
Warren’s jayvee team has its final match of the season Monday when it hosts the Bradford Owls at Jackson Valley Golf Course for a 3 p.m. start.
