Eisenhower boys prevail, girls lose
The Eisenhower boys soccer team exploded for a 7-0 road win over Commodore Perry on Thursday night.
The Knights were led by Rever Caudill, who scored three goals in the non-conference win. Also scoring for Eisenhower were Bryceton Wilkins, Mason Degnan, Keaton Destro and Chase Card. For Destro and Card, the tallies were their first of the season. Goalie Gavin Haight recorded his first career varsity shutout.
Knight head coach Mike Taylor felt good after his team’s win, “We didn’t have a scrimmage before the season and we started out the year a bit sluggish,” Eisenhower head coach Mike Taylor said. “We are getting better each game. We have some things to work on and to fix, but I like where we are at now.”
