Trap leagues
On the last night of the Warren County Trap League, Pine Grove outgunned Sheffield 346-344, allowing Pine Grove to win the season’s second half.
In the other action, Tidioute topped Sugar Grove 343-331; Brokenstraw got by Corry 335-333; and Kalbfus scored 260 in its bye week. Perfect 50s were shot by John Morrison, Jon Shelton, Kenton Knopp, Jack Hunt, Cooper Nystrom, Joel Stewart, Conrad Shearer and Adam Miller.
A shoot-off between Sheffield and Pine Grove will be held to determine the league champion. The shoot-off will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Tidioute.
Individually, Cindy Cable of Pine Grove, and Mikkayla Durlin and Chiyo Grant of Sheffield were the High Ladies; Tucker Nystrom of Sheffield was the High Junior; Zach Roush of Corry was the High Sub Junior with a 47; Hunt of Sheffield and Stewart of Tidioute were the High Veterans with 50 apiece; Jerry Martin of Pine Grove and Chuck Loomis of Sheffield were the High Senior Veterans with a 49 apiece; and Morrison of Pine Grove and and Shearer of Tidioute were the High Super Senior Veterans with 50 apiece.
