The Babe Ruth 13-Year-Old World Series begins today at Diethrick Park in Jamestown, N.Y. At 11 a.m., Stamford, Conn. will take on Broomall-Newtown, Pa., followed by Stevens Point, Wisc. vs. Eagle Pass, Texas at 1:30 p.m., Australia vs. Tallahassee, Fla. at 4:30 p.m. and Jamestown vs. Centennial, Colo. at 7 p.m. Admission is free. On Sunday, Stevens Point and Price, Utah will kick things off at 11 a.m., followed by Tallahassee vs. Port Angeles, Wash. at 1:30 p.m., Broomall-Newtown vs. Australia at 4:30 p.m. and Eagle Pass vs. Jamestown at 7 p.m. The World Series runs through Aug. 23.
