KYDC offering physicals for upcoming season
With the fall sports season approaching, the Kinzua Youth Development Center (KYDC), home to the Kinzua Wrestling Club, is reminding parents of its joint initiative between KYDC and Warren General Hospital to support youth in the Warren County community in need of medical clearances for participation in scholastic athletic activities.
Any middle school or high school student-athlete choosing to participate in the PIAA scholastic fall sports season can obtain a voucher from their high school athletic director or at central office and report for their physical exam at the Warren General Hospital Walk-In Care Clinic located in North Warren (Warren Commons, 2817 Market Street).
The voucher is only good for an official PIAA sport physical examination.
Parents/caregivers must have the PIAA section six physical examination form with their voucher at the time of evaluation. These will be attached to the voucher upon pickup.
All participants who have some form of insurance should have their medical insurance information available at the time of the examination.
KYDC will pay for the total cost for those who have no insurance and/or the difference between the actual cost and one’s insurance benefit.
Vouchers are available at the WCSD central office (Russell) and at Warren, Beaty, Eisenhower, Youngsville, and Sheffield.
