Tarp Skunks fall to Americans 13-6

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Grant Moore hit 2 for 5 with a double and scored twice for the Niagara Falls Americans as they defeated the Tarp Skunks 13-6 in Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League action on Sunday.

Logan Stickler added an RBI double for the Americans (4-0) and Tristan Raley hit 1 for 4 with 2 RBIs and two runs scored.

Keegan Bazinet was the winning pitcher after going 5 2/3 innings with just one earned run on five hits and one walk.

Jamestown had no problem generating offense, but the Tarp Skunks committed eight errors in the contest and surrendered runs in all but two innings in the loss. Eighth different pitchers appeared for the Tarp Skunks, however it was Mark Holm taking the loss despite pitching just two innings with no earned runs.

The Jamestown (3-2) offense was led by Eric Weeks going 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI, Aiden Nolasco added a home run and 2 RBIs and Nolan Smith hit 1 for 2 with a double.
