FRED CARDER
RUSSELL — Using an 8-iron, Fred Carder aced the 126-yard 13th hole to highlight action in Week Six of the Cable Hollow Senior Men’s League last Friday.
Juan Torres recorded the low gross with a 36, Jim Swick had the low net with a 28 and Wayne Nasman recorded the most points with 8.5. Torres also had the most pars (six). Gary Bjorkquist was the individual points leader (41).
The Eastern Division team standings are Lion’s Gate Wealth 139.5, Litehouse Auto 132.5, Townline Auto 115, Agricultural Logistics 112; Warren Tire 107; Falconer/Frewsburg Crew 105; and Maple Place Farms 97.5.
The Western Division team standings are Cable Hollow Golf 121.5, Huber Blacktop 120.5, Mike’s Townline 115.5, Cable Hollow 2.0 115.5, CITI Physical Therapy 111.5; Olde Duffers 109; and NAPA Auto Parts 108.5.

Jeff McClement fired a 39, and Jeff White and Scott Saber both shot a 40 for the top gross scores in the Blueberry Hill Golf Course Men’s Senior League.
Jeff Carlson, Bill Turner and Mark Silvis all shot a 31 for low net.
Recording birdies were Silvis with two, and Dick Merenick, Chuck Barrett, Lonnie Dombrowski, Scott Saber, Jerry Carr, Kevin Hartley and Larry Crossley with one apiece.

LAKEWOOD, N.Y. — Jon Steffan shot a 38 for low gross and joined John Siwinski with a 31 for low net in the Youngsville Area Senior League at Maplehurst Country Club.
Other gross scores were Tim Sandberg 41, Art Ward 41 and John Blum 43.
Other net scores were Dan Steffan 33, Keith Beckerink 33, Ron Brown 34 and Mike Peyton 34.
Beckerink, Dan Steffan, Blum, Joe Cerrie and Juan Torres all had birdies.
Beckerink (No. 13) was closest to the pin.

Cindy Munksgard and Missie Moyer claimed first place in the Ladies Scramble League at Jackson Valley Golf Course with a 28.
The second- through fourth-place finishers were Lisa Irwin-Julie Moyer 28, Tracey Rickard-Katie Penley, and Mary Beth Whiting-Carolyn Worley.

Eagles Club leads the Tuesday Night League at Jackson Valley Golf Course with 143 points, six in front of second-place Shaw House.
The other teams in the top five are KCS Energy, 136.5; A&B Heating, 133.5; and 4-Score and Sons of the Legion, tied with 132.5.
Craig Campbell was the high points winner with 8.5, followed by Don Smith, Bill Andrews, Tom Morelli, Mark Silvis and Mickey Caldwell with 8 apiece.
Rick Gignac recorded the low gross on the front nine with a 37 and Cale Albaugh and Fred Franklin led the way on the back nine with a 40 apiece.
Joe Saber (35) and Tim Watkins (39) set the pace for the seniors on the front nine and on the back nine respectively.
Ethan Benedict and Jim Grosch had low net on the front nine with a 34 apiece; Scott Lauffenberger had the low net on the back nine; Dudley Nollinger recorded the low net on the front nine among seniors; and Craig Campbell registered the low net on the back nine among seniors.
