General McLane won its third straight by 10-run rule in a 16-1 Region 6 win over Warren on Wednesday at Old Legion Field.

After lopsided wins over Corry and Meadville in the past week, the Lancers scored six runs in the third inning to pull away from the host Dragons.

General McLane had 13 hits — four for extra bases — in five innings, and the Lancers were helped by eight walks, three hit batters, and four Warren errors.

Sophomore Kellen Chelton had a double, triple, two walks, four runs and four RBIs for McLane (8-2 overall and 6-1 in region).

Carter Cochran had two of Warren’s four hits, though the Dragons struck out just three times as a team.

Warren (0-10 overall and 0-6 in Region 6) hosts Cathedral Prep on Thursday at Old Legion Field.
