Warren’s softball team dropped its fifth straight on Wednesday in a 11-1 five-inning Region 6 loss to visiting Titusville at Lady Dragons Field.
Titusville took advantage of four Warren errors and handed pitcher Olivia Romanosky the loss despite her allowing nine unearned runs and two earned.
Titusville’s Jordan Wynn reached base all four times, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, three runs and two RBIs. Josie Peden and Kasey Krepps added two hits each and a combined five RBIs for the Rockets (9-9 overall and 7-7 in Region 6). Freshman pitcher Nora Lasko scattered five hits without allowing an earned run.
Emily Davidson and Alexis Jones had two hits each for Warren, which falls to 8-9 overall and finishes 5-9 in the region.
“Hitting continues to be our nemesis,” said Warren coach Carissa Stuart. “We did better with pitch selection and were more aggressive, but lacking solid hard hits. Unfortunately, the few hard hits we did have went right to someone.

“Emma (Gray) did a great job in right field; she tracked down a lot of pop flies,” added Stuart. “Alannah (Garza) made three nice foul ball catches. She’s been doing a phenomenal job since moving into the catching position.
“Regardless of the outcome, it was nice to celebrate our seniors and celebrate all of their accomplishments and wish them good luck in all their future endeavors,” said the coach, whose team celebrated senior day by honoring Alana Stuart and Davidson.
In non-region play, Warren hosts Bradford today and finishes at Franklin on Friday.
