14 WCSD players playing in Corporate Cup
Thirteen Warren Dragons and one Eisenhower Knight help make up rosters for the 2025 New York vs. Pennsylvania Corporate Cup Soccer Showcase on Sunday, July 27, at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
Four games, boys and girls Gold and boys and girls Silver, will be played as part of the showcase. The Boys Silver match is at noon, Girls Silver at 2:30 p.m., Boys Gold at 5 p.m., and Girls Gold at 7:30 p.m.
Eisenhower senior Case Seymour is co-captain for the Pennsylvania Boys Gold team with Bradford head coach David Reitz the PA Boys Gold head coach. Warren head boys soccer coach Steffen Blair is listed among nine assistant coaches.
Seymour will be joined on the Boys Gold team by six Dragons, including Gabriel Dougherty, Trey Carrington, Dominick Holmberg, Luc Wilkins, Timothy Giger and Quinn Norris.
Warren’s Adon Maier will play for the Boys Silver team, which will be coached by DuBois head boys coach Matt Erickson. Blair is also an assistant for the Silver team.
Warren’s Meea Irwin, Lilly Stanley, Lani Wenzel and Leyna Irwin will play for the Girls Gold Team, coached by Brockway head coach Mike Puhala.
Warren’s Bella Campbell and Madison Jones will play for the Girls Silver team, coached by Kane head coach Brittany Sprankle.
Pennsylvania teammates in all four games include players from Bradford, Brockway, Brookville, Clearfield, Corry, Curwensville, DuBois, DuBois Central Catholic, Elk County Catholic, Johnsonburg, Kane, Keystone, Northern Clarion, Northern Porter, Port Allegany, Redbank Valley, Ridgway, Port Allegany, Punxsutawney and St. Marys.
