Johnsonburg routs Sheffield 54-24
SHEFFIELD — Johnsonburg jumped out to an 18-2 first-quarter lead and never looked back in a 54-24 Allegheny Mountain League North win over Sheffield on Tuesday at Sheffield Area Middle/High School.
Jude Schreiber had 7 of his game-high 17 points in the first, and nine Johnsonburg players scored in the game.
The Rams are 13-8 overall and in second place in the AML North.
Colby Barr led the four Sheffield scorers with 12 points. The Wolverines are 1-17 overall.
“Our goal is to win games and we have three games coming up that, if we can play the type of ball I know we can, we can win,” said Sheffield coach Jordan Copley.
