FALCONER, N.Y. — The Eisenhower wrestling team had a good showing over the weekend, competing in the 24th annual Patrick J. Morales Memorial Tournament and finishing 10th out of 21 teams participating.

The Knights placed two wrestlers on the podium.

At 116 pounds, Knights took second and third, ironically both losing to Medina’s Reece Senske, the son of former Eisenhower wrestler Mike Senske.

Rever Caudill had two pins, a technical fall and a 14-10 decision before losing in the finals to Senske.

Shaun Miller had a technical fall and a pin into the semifinals and then came back with a pin and a 5-2 decision in the consolation round before losing to Senske to finish in third place.

“I thought as a team we wrestled well and I was impressed with our guys overall,” Eisenhower head coach Jared Lindell said. “Shaun and Rever are both on a roll, hopefully they are hitting their stride at the right time.”

The Knights don’t have much time to rest as tournament winner Corry travels to Eisenhower for a dual match on Wednesday.

Starting at $2.99/week.
