Dragons’ soccer teams have road playoff games today

Warren's girls soccer team will battle Girard at 5 tonight at Fairview High School in a District 10 Class 3A playoff semifinal.

The Lady Dragons (10-8) are the third seed, going up against second-seeded Girard (12-6). Warren lost to the Yellowjackets 3-1 on Sept. 5.

The winner of the Warren-Girard match will meet top-seeded Harbor Creek (11-7) for the D10 title at a day and site to be determined.

DRAGON BOYS PLAY LATE

Warren's boys soccer team will meet Meadville -- again -- at 7:30 tonight at Franklin High School in the D10 3A playoff semifinals.

The second-seeded Bulldogs (13-5) are familiar to the third-seeded Dragons (10-7) as they have beaten Warren twice this season in overtime -- the first was a 3-2 win on Sept. 4, then 1-0 on Sept. 30 in double overtime.

The winner of Warren-Meadville will meet Region 5 champion General McLane (15-3) in the title match at a day and site to be determined.
