Warren boys golf finishes third at Blueberry Hill GC

Reid Olsen

Warren’s boys golf team, like it did on Monday in Erie, finished third at the Region 6 Mega Match on Tuesday, only this time at its home course of Blueberry Hill.

Reid Olsen finished fifth individually and led the Dragons with his 18-hole 80. Medalist Luke Ferry shot a 73 to lead Meadville to the first-place finish at 319. McDowell was two strokes behind at 321, Warren shot 340, Erie High 355 and General McLane 372.

“The goal is to get as many representatives for the District 10 individual tournament in a few weeks,” said Warren coach Nate Sandberg. “Practice and execution will be the key to prepare for Monday’s final region match.”

Also for Warren on Tuesday, Conner Zaffino and Carter Cochran each finished with 86s, and Collin Ellis shot 88.

Starting at $3.50/week.
