ERIE -- In its third road win of the week -- and second straight in Region 5 -- Warren's volleyball team defeated Erie High 25-13, 25-15, 25-11 to stay unbeaten in dual matches.
"Nice to come away with three wins on the road this week," said Warren coach Mike Dolan, whose Dragons are 9-0 overall and 6-0 after the first half of the region schedule. "We still have a couple more before we host again."
Madelyn Jones had 14 kills; Maddy Jones six kills, eight digs and three aces; and Lindsay Madigan 29 assists, three kills, seven digs and two aces to lead the way.
Defensively, Malysia Sorensen finished with 20 digs, Lily Walker five digs, and Sophie Walker three digs and two aces.
In typical fashion, Warren has been getting consistent efforts from every hitter, including Lilly Newton's five kills, Attie Corey's three kills, and Brooke Sherry, Lauren Fajbik and Julia Getner with two kills apiece.
Warren's junior varsity also won 25-17, 25-13. Sherry led Warren with 11 kills and three digs; Lara Pearson had seven kills; Peyton Cabisca five kills; Brynn Norris 12 assists and six digs; Michaela Dolan nine assists and six digs; and Addison Ristau six digs.
