Junior high XC

Hannah Lund and Joey Fanelli won their respective junior high cross country races for Eisenhower last Thursday in a home meet with Corry.

Lund defeated three Corry runners in the girls race with her time of 12:51 to Feabie Fourspring’s 13:36.

Fanelli won over 12 other runners in 10:30. Other Eisenhower finishers were Cameron Lindell (fifth, 11:04), Benny Matson (seventh, 11:25), and Ramsey Williams (13th, 15:24).

Also on Thursday, Mason Warner, Nathaniel Harris, Ethan Gustafson and Levi Peterson finished 1-4 (out of 12) in the boys 2,000-meter run for Beaty Warren Middle School at Union City. Warner won in 9:20, Harris ran in 9:44.56, Gustafson 10:19.27, Peterson 10:20.80, Ashton Carrington was sixth in 10:37.88, Dylan Shaffer eighth in 12:06.66, Landon Lutton ninth in 12:09.43, Daniel Cull 10th in 12:14.56, Mason Chapman 11th in 12:15.98, and Eli Lutton 12th in 12:44.60.

For Beaty’s girls, Nina Woldt won the 2,000-meter run in 10:28.78, Delaney Moore was second in 11:55.64, and Scotlyn Perry third in 12:39.84.
