Trap leagues
In the final week of the Warren County Trap League, Pine Grove won the second half with a 6-0 record after edging Sheffield 342-341.
In the other matches, Tidioute topped Brokenstraw 342-334, Sugar Grove downed Kalbfus 337-313 and Corry scored 340 in its bye week.
Perfect 50s were shot by Pine Grove’s Ray Lee, Sheffield’s Chuck Loomis, Tidioute’s Conrad Shearer and Sean Spencer, Brokenstraw’s C.J. Jones and Corry’s Ken Berkhous.
Pine Grove will shoot off against Tidioute, the first-half winner, on Wednesday at Brokenstraw. Start time will be 4 p.m.
Pine Grove’s Laura Spiridon and Sugar Grove’s Shelby Black tied for High Lady honors with 49s. Pine Grove’s Jacob Franklin was High Jr. with a 48. Corry’s Zach Roush was High Sub Jr. with a 48. Sheffield’s Jack Hunt, Tidioute’s Guy Anderson and Joel Stewart, and Corry’s Greg Linden tied for High Veteran honors with 49s. Loomis and Berkhous tied for High Sr. Veteran honors with their 50s. Lee and Shearer tied for High Super Sr. Veteran honors with their 50s.
