On Monday, the Tidioute Community Charter School Bulldogs hosted the Union Damsels.

Tidioute’s JV team came away with its first win of the season 25-23 and 25-16.

With both teams exchanging points for most of the first set, the Bulldogs were able to fight from behind and come away with the win. Feeling more comfortable and having the first-game jitters out of the way, they were able to build a small lead in the second game and maintain it to the end.

Ashleigh Johnson had an ace, a kill, two assists and a dig. Sophia Bereksazi had eight aces, five assists and a dig. Hailey Paden had three aces, two kills and a dig. Lexi Hart had a kill and an assist. Maddie Warham had two aces, a kill, an assist and three digs. Tegan Whiteman had two kills, an assist and a dig.

The varsity was unable to get the win with Union prevailing 25-18, 25-14, 29-27.

Marlee Nuttall had two aces, three kills and five digs. Katelyn Hart had three aces, two kills, two assists, nine digs and a block. Ashleigh Johnson had an ace, six assists and a dig. Hailey Paden had two digs. Lexi Hart had two aces, a kill and a dig. Tegan Whiteman had an ace, two kills and six digs.

On Tuesday, Tidioute Community Charter School traveled to Erie First Christian.

The JV team won the first set 26-24, lost the second 19-25, then rallied in the third to win the match 15-8.

Lexi Hart had eight aces, a kill, an assist and four digs. Maddie Warham had an ace, an assist and two digs. Tegan Whiteman had an ace, three kills and eight digs.

The varsity team was unable to win, falling 25-9, 25-15, 25-19.
