Big 30 All-Star Charities Classic events will culminate tonight with the 50th game (in 51 years) between top graduated seniors from northwestern Pennsylvania and southwestern New York — at 7 p.m. at Parkway Field in Bradford.

Among team Pennsylvania players are seven from Eisenhower High School, including Kris Bunk, Derek Childs, J.J. Darr, Colin Sobkowski, Camron Jakubczak, Tucker Lindell and Shawn Pascuzzi. Johnny Corbett and Matt Sowa join from Warren Area High School as well as Dylan Hardwick from Sheffield.

Pascuzzi (No. 9) is listed at quarterback for PA and will split reps with Cameron County’s Maddox Baughman (7).

Baughman threw for 1,245 yards in helping lead the Red Raiders to the District 9 playoffs in 2023. His Cameron County head coach, Ryan Neyman, also leads Pennsylvania tonight.

The D10 Region 2 co-Player of the Year, Pascuzzi ran for 664 yards and seven touchdowns, and he threw 12 touchdown passes, 10 of those to Bunk (12), one of the Pennsylvania tight ends. Jakubczak (27) also caught one, and he will be among PA’s receivers tonight.

Middle row: Austin Freer (Port Allegany), Dane Anderson (Kane), Jackson Kilpeck (Ridgway-Johnsonburg), Dylan Hardwick (Sheffield), Brady Heindl (Ridgway), Eric Hoffman (Ridgway-Johnsonburg) and Derek Childs (Eisenhower). Darr (55) joins a PA offensive line that will block for one of his Ike teammates in Lindell (32), who rushed for 877 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2023.

The Knights finished the 2023 season with an 8-4 record and a second-place finish in the region. Their season ended in the District 10 1A semifinal game, losing to Cambridge Springs, 22-20.

Eisenhower’s Sobkowski (54) will be among PA’s defensive tackles, and Childs (8) and Warren’s Sowa (1) will be outside linebackers (combining for 15 tackles for losses in 2023).

Warren’s Corbett (13) and Sheffield’s Hardwick (34) are listed among PA’s cornerbacks.

Founded in 1974, the game has been played each summer with the exception of 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic. Last summer, after taking a series lead for the first time in 2022, Pennsylvania added to its lead — now 24-22-3 — with a come-from-behind 34-27 victory. The Big 30 game has raised more than $2 million for area charities to support individuals and families in need.

The event’s pageantry includes a band, cheerleaders, and starts today with a parade at 2:30 p.m. in Bradford.

Gates open at Bradford High School’s Parkway Field at 5 p.m. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
