Heath Genis had four hits, including a double in a seven-run second inning, in Warren Post 135’s 10-4 Junior American Legion baseball win over Kane VFW 1132 on Tuesday at Old Legion Field in North Warren.
David Manning and Wesley Wilcox added RBI base hits in the inning for Warren, which will open the league’s four-team playoffs at 6 p.m. Tuesday at unbeaten St. Marys (12-0).
Manning started for Warren (3-9), allowing three runs on four hits over four innings. Broc Bryan allowed one run over four innings in relief.
Bryan, Manning, and Wilcox added two hits each for Warren.
The regular-season finale followed the completion of a suspended game in which Kane walked off an 8-7 win. Bryan led Warren with three hits and Wyatt Wilson added two in the loss.
