GIRLS TRAINING

Serenity Miller, Lydia Pannell, Aubrie Benson and Jocelyn Garza led Hillview Towing to a 9-6 victory over Pine Grove Auto Sales, each going 3-for-3 at the plate and combining for six runs. Defensive standouts for Hillview Towing were Sadie Watson and Jocelyn Garza. Pine Grove Auto Sales’ Lacy Falconer and Laney Kitchell both had great batting while their defense was led by Brookelynn Felmlee making three outs.

Calvert Pearson topped Cornerstone, 11-5. Calvert Pearson’s Skylie Fiscus hit all three times at bat, and Avalee Seither made multiple outs and hit well. Audrey Hepinger scored all three times. Cornerstone players Camden Woods scored all three times, Nova Gustafson had a fantastic hit and beat the throw to first, and Tess Hadley played amazing defense.

GIRLS MINORS

Calvert-Pearson beat Dahlstrom Roll Form, 10-0. Riley Koszewski had two hits and made a heads-up defensive play for Calvert. Anna Hulings, Harper Nester, and Claire Manning had nice hits for Calvert.

BOYS MINORS

Dyke’s Garage topped WayCoy Oil and Gas, 17-4.

For WayCoy, Titus Hoak scored two runs. McCoy Holden and Jaxon Wotorson each had singles.

For Dykes Garage, Ackron Hoisington went 4-for-4 with a triple and three doubles. Glade Rulander added two singles. Cameron Briggs scored three runs. Briggs and Kamden West each pitched well in the win.

Golf leagues

WARREN, Pa. — Robert Vincent and Bill Wassman combined for 21 points to lead the Stableford League at Jackson Valley Golf Course.

Rick Gignac and Dale Johnson were second with 20 points, while Mike Stefaniszyn and Tom Moyer were third with a matching 20 points.

Individually, Gary Weber, Jesse McMichael and Jim Grosch led the way with 10 points apiece.

Among the seniors, Dale Johnson and John Lord each had 12 points, while Roger Vincent had 11 points.

Mike Moyer Jr. had his first ever hole-in-one. Moyer scored the hole-in-one on the 127-yard eighth hole, using his pitching wedge.

The shot was witnessed by Mike Moyer Sr., Casey Moyer, Patrick Henry, Brian Pochatko and Mason Burch.

WARREN, Pa. — Awesome 4-Some has 116.5 points to lead the Tuesday Night League at Jackson Valley Golf Course.

Strong Spine Chiropractic is second with 115 points, followed by Patty Whackers (111), Davies & Sons (108.5), Financial Care Partners (107.5) and KCS Energy (107.5).

Drew Wilcox and Tyler Bailey each finished with 8.5 points.

Owen Becker shot the low gross on the front nine with a 37 and Rob Ritchie had the low gross on the back nine with a 37. For the seniors, Randy Thomas led the front nine with a 36 and Joe Saber led the back nine with a 38.

In net scoring, Bailey led the front nine with a 30, while Ben Salapek, Jason Rafalski and Jordan Wilson all had 35s on the back nine. For the seniors, Gary Bjorquist had a 32 on the front nine and Dave Grady had a 34 on the back nine.
