Jackals rout Admirals 128-82 in TBL action

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Every Jamestown Jackals player found the scoring column en route to a 128-82 victory over the Tri-State Admirals in The Basketball League action Sunday afternoon at Jamestown Community College’s Physical Education Complex.

Derrick Colter led the way for Jamestown with 26 points, including 7-of-8 shooting from 3-point range, while Danny Jasson added 25 points. Brent Price chipped in 14 points and six rebounds; Conner Kelley had 12 points and seven rebounds; Troy Baker had 11 points and eight rebounds; and Lorenzo Collier had 9 points, six assists and five rebounds.

The Jackals shot 49% from the field, including 12 of 27 from 3-point range, and outrebounded the Admirals 70-46.

Mark Blair led Tri-State with 22 points and Javan Johns had 21.

Fourth-place Jamestown, which improved to 7-6 in the Atlantic Northeast Division, returns to action Sunday against the Frederick Flying Cows at Hood College’s Ronald J. Volpe Athletic Center. The Admirals fell to 2-11 in the division.
