Corporate Cup rosters announced

15 from Warren County to play in July 28 games at Kane High School

Fifteen Warren County soccer players are on rosters for the 2024 NY/PA Corporate Cup Soccer Showcase to be held July 28 at Kane High School.

After tryouts, the Pennsylvania Gold boys team will include Warren Area High School juniors Gavin Rex and Casey Rich and sophomore Quinn Norris, as well as Eisenhower junior goalie Case Seymour.

Warren boys soccer coach Steffen Blair will serve as Pennsylvania Gold boys head coach, and the roster also includes players from St. Marys, Port Allegany, Brookville, Elk County Catholic, Bradford, Kane, and DuBois.

Rosters from Pennsylvania will play rosters from New York in four games, including a Girls Silver match at noon, Boys Silver at 2:30 p.m., Girls Gold at 5 p.m., and Boys Gold at 7:30 p.m.

In addition to players from Bradford, St. Marys, Port Allegany, Brockway, Northern Potter, Johnsonburg and DuBois, the Pennsylvania Girls Gold roster includes Warren sophomores Leyna and Meea Irwin, junior Lucy Bigelow, sophomore Lilly Stanley, and freshman Lani Wenzel, as well as Eisenhower junior Callen Gigliotti.

The Pennsylvania Boys Silver roster includes Warren sophomore Dominick Holmberg and Sheffield senior Alex Eaton, who plays for Warren through a co-op agreement. Joining Holmberg and Eaton will be players from DuBois, Brookville, Clarion-Limestone, St. Marys, Ridgway, Port Allegany, Clearfield, Kane, Elk County Catholic and Coudersport.

The Pennsylvania Girls Silver roster includes Warren junior Madison Jones, sophomore Bailey Williams, and freshman Jazmine Jones. Teammates will be from Ridgway, Port Allegany, St. Marys, Johnsonburg, Kane, Smethport, DuBois, Bradford and Curwensville.
