PHILIPSBURG — Warren’s Katie Seamens won her bracket, and Jenna Kophazy and Kasey Kophazy lost in the finals, at the Lady Mountie Invitational Wrestling Tournament on Saturday at Philipsburg-Osceola High School.

“Katie had the smallest bracket with only three. She was the No. 1 seed, so a bye to the finals where she picked up a pin for first place,” said Warren coach Glenn Baldensperger. “Jenna went 1-1. Pinning her first opponent, she lost in the ultimate ride-out in overtime (in the championship match). Emily Wiles went 1-2, picking up a pin in her second match. Kasey went 1-1, taking second with a pin in the opening round. I believe that gives her 55 career wins.

“The girls have a couple weeks until their districts,” added Baldensperger. “Back to work.”
