Junior high volleyball results announced

The Eisenhower junior high volleyball team split its matches with visiting Ridgway on Tuesday.

The Lady Knights seventh-grade team took two of three sets,12-25, 25-23, 25-23.

Head coach Lori Pascuzzi, “I was impressed with their serving,” Eisenhower head coach Lori Pascuzzi said. “They continue to improve every game. It’s a big transition as they are all working on their overhand serve. They did well playing multiple positions.”

The Eisenhower eighth-grade team dropped two of three sets to the Lady Elkers, 25-20, 23-25, 23-25.

“We had some good attack attempts and some very nice net play,” Pascuzzi said. “We just need more consistency with our serves and we must get quicker reactions on our serve receptions.”

BEATY

Beaty volleyball’s eighth-grade team went 3-0-1 last week with wins over Kane, 25-13, 25-19, 25-12, Eisenhower, 25-16, 25-13, 25-21, Youngsville, 25-10, 25-6, and a split with ECC, 20-25, 25-21. Beaty now has a record of 3-1-1.

Beaty’s seventh-grade team went 2-2 with wins over Eisenhower, 23-25, 25-22, 25-21, and Youngsville, 25-14, 25-7 with losses to Kane, 11-25, 12-25, 25-27, and ECC, 14-25, 7-25. Their record stands 2-3 overall.

For the eighth grade last week, Hailey Cabisca had 21 kills, 34 aces, 6 digs; Kiera Garris 17 aces, 19 digs; Ava Wymer 13 kills, 3 aces, 3 digs; Grace Schwab 9 kills, 1 block; Michaela Dolan 16 aces, 37 assists; Tia French 5 kills; Kelsey Johnson 7 aces, 6 kills; and Addison Brown 9 aces, 4 kills.

For the 7th Grade, Joanna Bennett totaled 15 aces, 3 assists; Kendall Skerda 10 aces; Alliesun Woodin 7 aces; Khloe Morse 3 aces, 3 kills; and Lily White 2 aces.
