Eisenhower battles Iroquois in D10 2A semis tonight

The Eisenhower Knights and Warren Dragons boys basketball teams will share the same court tonight at General McLane High School when both schools play their District 10 semifinal games.

The second-seeded Knights tip off first at 6 p.m. when they face the No. 6 Iroquois Braves in Class 2A. It will be the second time this season that they will be playing each other, Eisenhower won the early season game on the Braves’ court 55-50.

The Knights finished as tri-champions of District 10’s Region 2 and come into the game with a record of 19-4 overall. The Knights finished with a perfect 12-0 record at home and were 6-3 on the road, while the Braves enter tonight’s game with a 12-11 record. The Braves were 4-7 at home and 7-3 on the road.

The Dragons (18-5) come into their District 10 4A semifinal game against Grove City (15-9). The Dragons were 8-2 at home and 5-3 on the road with a perfect 5-0 record on a neutral court. While Grove City comes into tonight’s game with a 8-2 record on their home court, and a 5-3 record on the road, they were 1-2 on a neutral court.

All tickets for tonight’s games must be purchased online, there will be no sales at the site.
