8 Knights advance to districts, Darr clinches regional spot

The Eisenhower wrestling teams have a lot to look forward to next weekend with a total of nine wrestlers continuing their seasons.

A total of eight grapplers on the boys team managed top-eight positions to earn a spot next weekend at the district championships.

The highest finish was earned by Cole Kellogg earning third place at 152 pounds; Tucker Lindell (160) came in fifth; Rever Caudill (107), Shawn Miller (114), Derek Childs (145) and Bryceton Wilkins (172) took sixth; and Griffin Williams (121) and JJ Darr (215) booked their tickets to districts with a seventh-place finish.

Abbie Darr shined brightest for the Lady Knights with a second-place finish at 170 pounds and will continue her season in two weeks at regionals.

Both Brynn Lindell (112) and Nikita Nelson (126) lost in the consolation round to end their seasons.
