Youngsville boys take down TCCS 62-23 on Monday

YOUNGSVILLE — Hudson Haight erupted for 25 points and Youngsville cruised to a 62-23 victory over Tidioute Charter in boys basketball action on Monday at Youngsville High School.

Haight drained four three-pointers in the win and was joined in double figures by teammate Ethan Beers who scored all 13 of his points in the first half of the victory.

Youngsville led by 10 after a quarter and steadily stretched its advantage from there. Rylan Benton, Rodney Rowland and Josh Pikna all scored 6 points for the winners with Braydon Baker, Austin Connor and Ollie Boozer also cracking the scoring column.

The Bulldogs were led by the 11 points of Bryce Gilson.

Youngsville returns to action Wednesday, hosting Forest Area.
