Tidioute boys post 42-27 victory
TIDIOUTE — Behind a strong effort by Chris Kenney, Tidioute Charter boys downed ISA/Chautauqua Christian 42-27 on Tuesday.
Kenney poured in 21 points, highlighted by a pair of 3-pointers in the first quarter that helped the Bulldogs open up a 15-4 lead, to go along with four rebounds and four steals. Also helping the winning effort were Lane Buccardo with 11 points and 13 rebounds, and Landon Anderson with nine boards. Freshman Cody Paden scored 12 points and made three steals.
Marcus Ryan scored 11 points for ISA/Chautauqua Christian.
In the junior varsity game, ISA/Chautauqua Christian prevailed 44-8. Tim Stahlman scored 26 points to lead the winners. Cameron Kibbey had 4 points for Tidioute Charter.
Last Saturday, Tidioute Charter varsity defeated Venango Catholic in the consolation game of the Forest Tip-Off Tournament.
GIRLS
ISA/Chautauqua Christian knocked off Tidioute Charter 56-18 on Tuesday.
Brooksten Fors drilled three 3-pointers; Marlee Nuttall had 4 points and 10 rebounds; and teammates Zaynah Gardner and Katelyn Hart pulled down five rebounds apiece for Tidioute Charter.
ISA/Chautauqua Christian also won the junior varsity game 34-15.
Bella Lawson scored 11 points for the winners, while Layla and Khloe Rulander tallied 5 points apiece for Tidioute Charter.
