UNION CITY — Three Beaty Warren Middle School runners finished among the top 15 at Wednesday’s 15th annual Junior High District Cross Country Invitational, hosted by Union City High School.

Cole Fitzgerald finished sixth, Leyton Salvatore eighth and Reilly Morgan 14th out of 205 individual finishers to help the Beaty boys end up fifth among 33 complete and partial junior high teams.

Fitzgerald finished the 3,000 meters in 10:49, Salvatore in 10:55.1 and Morgan in 11:04.4 as Beaty’s place-winners. Other Warren finishers included Grayson Collopy (64th, 12:11.6), Nathan Harris (103rd, 12:56.2), Jonah Brinkley (111th, 13:09.6), Mason Warner (119th, 13:13.4) and Levi Peterson (154th, 14:06.4).

For 17th-place Eisenhower, Joseph Fanelli was 62nd in 12:08; Alex Lund 96th in 12:48; Carson Ferman 105th in 12:58; Brice Ludwick 138th in 13:39; Ramsey Williams 151st in 13:56; and Bentley Howard 203rd in 21:29.
