After a bye in the first round, Warren faced Saegertown in the second round and won 25-20. The semifinals and finals were both played best of three games to 15. Warren faced off against North East in its semifinal and came away with a 15-8, 13-15, 15-14 win to reach the finals against top-seeded Meadville, which defeated Corry 2-0 in the other semifinal.

In a back-and-forth final, the Dragons earned the championship by a score of 12-15, 15-11, 15-9.

“It was great to play lots of high-level volleyball all-day long,” said Warren coach Mike Dolan. “I think we made some strides in our consistency and confidence with some really steady and terrific team play from each player. Hopefully, we can use this as a jumping-off point for a great season, knowing that we can not only compete, but excel against great competition.”
