ERIE — Eisenhower traveled to Iroqouis on Wednesday and came away with a key region volleyball win, 19-25, 25-22, 15-25, 25-17, 15-6.

Caroline Smyth continued her strong play at the net with 11 blocks, seven kills and two scoring tips. She also added seven scoring serves.

Marissa Gourley had her second strong game in a row at the net with 10 blocks and four scoring tips. Emilie Jones added 10 kills and seven scoring serves while Lexi Pascuzzi was perfect serving with zerp service errors.

“The girls really played well,” Eisenhower head coach Lori Pascuzzi said. “They played with a lot of hustle, determination and a team-first attitude. I was really proud of our effort tonight.”
