By Scott Kindberg 1 min read

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. -- Beekman, New York found itself in a 3-0 hole after three innings in Game 7 of the Babe Ruth 13-15 World Series on Sunday afternoon.

After that, the Middle Atlantic Regional champions took control.

Moorhead, Minnesota made it easier, too.

Beekman took advantage of six errors to score eight unanswered runs en route to an 8-3 victory at Diethrick Park.

Winning pitcher Casey Loundes, the Ron Tellefsen Outstanding Player of the Game, pitched six innings and Gianni Servidio closed it out for Beekman (1-1). Aiden Suarez and Loundes added two hits apiece, helping to offset four defensive miscues.

Moorhead managed five hits, including two by Tellefsen Outstanding Player of the Game Taye Reich, but after scoring a pair of unearned runs in the first inning and another unearned run in the third, Loundes shut down the Midwest Plains Regional champions.
