HERSHEY — The two anchors for the Warren Area High School golf team last fall competed in the Pennsylvania Junior State Golf Championship at Hershey Country Club last month.

Featuring the state’s top 144 junior golfers over 54 holes, senior-to-be Braddock Damore was in 23rd place after an opening-round 73. He fired rounds of 68 and 72 in the second and third rounds respectively to finish in third place.

Meanwhile, recent graduate Owen Blum fired a 70 to place in the top 10 after the first round and finished with a 43rd-place showing for the event with rounds of 70-80-78. He will be playing golf for Penn State University at Behrend in the fall.
