HOUGHTON, N.Y. — The second annual Southern Tier All-Star Classic soccer match, featuring many of the finest female high school players from across the Southern Tier will take place today at 1 p.m. on Burke Field at Houghton University.

The East vs. West clash will feature all-stars from Allegany and Steuben counties versus all-stars from Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties, along with some players from Northwestern Pennsylvania on each team.

Player introductions will take place at 12:30 p.m. and awards will be presented following the match.

A food truck, complete with ice cream, will have fare available for purchase throughout the event, and no admission will be charged.

Families, friends and spectators are invited and welcome to attend. More than 30 collegiate coaches have also been invited to represent their programs.

The Eastern Division team will feature Hinsdale’s Fransisca Childs, Bolivar-Richburg’s McKinlee Harris and Madigan Harris, Cuba-Rushford’s Sofia Riquelme and Cloey Larabee, Fillmore’s Malory DeRock, Hope Russell, Grace Russell and Preslee Miller, Jasper-Troupsburg’s Emily McCraig, Addison’s Courtney Wilson, Avoca/Prattsburgh’s Leah Anderson, Belmont’s Anna Drozdowski and Adison Grusendorf, Warren’s Eliza Brook, Ella Getner, Charlotte Keeports and Luce Bigelow and Belmont’s Anna Drozdowski and Adison Grusendorf.

The Western Division will feature Falconer/Cassadaga Valley’s Brynn Helms, Kayla Lynn and Katelyn Hagstrom, Silver Creek/Forestville’s Tehya Marr, Westfield’s Makartnee Mortimer, Frewsburg’s Alex Hultberg and Ava Jimerson, Ellicottville’s Aaliyah Winslow and Alysa Williams, Portville’s Mackenzie Harmon, Southwestern’s Lexi Lundmark, Jamestown’s Julia Smith and Karryne Mims, Allegany-Limestone’s Addie Fisher and Abby Peck, Chautauqua Lake’s Jenica Jones and Quinn Putney, Fredonia’s Annie Gondek, Erie’s Olivia Pikiewicz and Waterford’s Savannah Jones.
