WARREN — Jim Senger had his fifth hole-in-one, recording the ace on the 102-yard No. 11 at Conewango Valley Country Club. It was witnessed by Rob Kaemmerer and Bob McGinn.

Golf Leagues

Dick Merenick, Steve Gelotte, Jeff McClement, Bill Petransky and Dick Davis all shot a 39 for low gross, and Bruce Swanson fired a 26 for low net in the Monday Seniors League at Blueberry Hill Golf Club.

Merenick and Ralph Keniston recorded birdies.

The teams of Skete Williams-Matt Johnson, John Aldrich-Scott Pearson and Andy Downey-Steve Vincent all shot a 33 to post the top gross score in the A Flight in the Monday Night Men’s League at Jackson Valley Golf Club.

The team of Fred Backhus-Ron Irwin recored the low net in that flight with a 30.

In the B Flight, the teams of Ryan Vik-Dave Spotts and Tim Munksgard-Chet Munksgard recorded the low gross with a 34.

The team of Mike Rulander-Garrett Blum registered the low net with a 34.

American Legion Post 135 leads the standings in the Tuesday Night League at Jackson Valley Golf Club with 181 points.

Rounding out the top five are A&B Heating, 179; Wolf Run Marina, 176.5; Sons of the Legion, 174.5; and Surefine, 174.

LAKEWOOD, N.Y. — John Blum shot a 35 gross and John Meleen fired a 29 net to lead the way in the Youngsville Senior League at Maplehurst Country Club.

Other gross scores were Tim Sandberg 37 and Denny Howe 38. Other net scores were Gary Wood 31, and Blum, Mike Beyton and Dick Stout 32 apiece.

Fred Carder recorded two birdies, Blum, Howe, Meleen, Stout, Jim California, Don Melson, Bubs Smith and Doc Young had one birdie apiece; and Blum had the longest putt on No. 15.
