Jamestown’s track & field program will be hosting a speed development camp at Strider Field on June 26-29 from 9-10:30 a.m.

The camp is open to all area student-athletes in grades 1-8 as of the fall 2023. Campers will work on drills to improve speed, agility, explosiveness and coordination. Field event techniques will also be taught and campers will take part in a track meet at the end of the week that the community is invited to watch. The cost of the camp is $55 if postmarked by June 4 ($65 after June 4). Registration for camps closes June 16.

For campers who plan to attend the Jamestown Football Camp from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 26-29, supervision and a snack will be available for the 30 minutes between the end of Speed Camp and the beginning of Football Camp.
