The Eisenhower boys and girls soccer programs conducted a four-day youth camp this week. “It was just a great week of weather and a lot of fun to watch these kids,” Knights boys head coach Todd Venman said. “Fifty-one kids in grades three through eight participated. … We really wanted to introduce soccer to the kids with the goal of developing soccer skills for kids that may have never played before, and to see some future Knight soccer players. Also, (we wanted) to make some connections before school lets out for the summer.” The camp was led by current players from both the boys and girls varsity teams “The kids did a phenomenal job of coaching and caring for these young kids,” Venman said. “It was impressive to watch them lead.”
