Fairview downs Warren 14-4
FAIRVIEW — Fairview scored seven runs in the bottom of the fourth inning en route to a 14-4 five-inning win over Warren on Thursday.
Warren (5-11) scored first in the top of the first inning without a hit.
Fairview answered with two runs on three hits in the bottom half off Warren pitcher Lilly Devore.
Trailing 4-1 after two innings, the Dragons rallied to tie the score. Carly Beers reached on an error ahead of Halle Kuzminski’s double and singles from Lexi Hoffman and Alanna Warrior.
Fairview answered an inning later with seven runs and scored 10 unanswered to win by the 10-run rule. Five doubles in the fourth inning were surrounded by an outfield error, a walk and two hit batters.
Carly Beers, Hoffman, and Emma Gray reached base twice each for Warren.
Ella Dworek was 3-for-3 for Fairview (12-5), which had 11 hits.
