RUSSELL– Mark Silvis shot a 36 gross and Dave Grady recorded a 27 net to lead the Monday Men’s League at Blueberry Hill Golf Course.

Registering birdies were Grady, Jamie Mohney, Jeff McClement, Steve Gelotte, Wally Blyth and Mike Suppa.

The Independent Order of Odd Fellows defeated Warren Overhead Door 21-13 in a girls Majors game.

Leading the way for the winners was winning pitcher Maci Benton who helped her own cause with three hits and three runs scored. She also struck out six. Teammate Peytynn Kirby had two hits, including a home run, and scored three times; Haley Kent plated four runs; Rylee Rectenwald belted a homer; and Allison Hackman had a double.

The Independent Order of Odd Fellows also downed Allegheny Oil & Lube 20-10.

Sophia DePasquale led the way with a grand slam home run; Haley Kent collected four hits, including a double, and scored four runs; winning pitcher Maci Benton (double) added three hits; and Peytynn Kirby collected a double and scored three times. Also contributing to the winning effort were Allison Hackman (double) with two hits and four runs scored; and Brooke Scott with a pair of hits.

Struthers Hose Company knocked off Dahlstrom Roll and Foam 16-9 in boys Minors game.

Ackron Hoisington led the way for the winners with an inside-the-park home run and a double and three runs scored; and Laine Jackson and Braylon Richards both doubled.

For Dahlstrom, Luke Baxter tripled and scored two runs; and Wesley Hornstrom, Kenton McGraw and Max Papalia all scored a pair of runs.

Calvert Pearson downed Superior Tire and Rubber 11-6 in a boys Minor game.

Janson Walter collected a pair of hits, including a double, and scored four runs; Zane Getner also had two hits to go along with two RBIs and two runs scored; and Trae Cradduck drove in three runs and scored one for the winners.

Marcus Williams (triple) collected three hits and scored three runs; Charles Sienkiewicz added two hits and scored twice; and Landon Coppersmith chipped in a base hit and made a nice catch in the outfield.
