COCHRANTON — The Eisenhower Knights nearly came away with a Region 3 baseball win at Cochranton on Wednesday, but fell just short in a 13-11 loss.

The Knights fell behind by six runs in the fourth inning.

Eisenhower first got on the board when it scored off an error before Derek Childs drew a walk to force in another run.

The Cardinals answered in their half of the inning on a two-run home run.

The Knights would add five more runs on a groundout by Shawn Pascuzzi, a double by Childs, a single by Kael Hunt and another RBI single by Pascuzzi in the sixth inning.

Brok English, Childs, Hunt, Garrett Jensen, Pascuzzi, Cole Kellogg, Palmieri and Jarius Casey each had hits for the Knights.
