LAKEWOOD, N.Y. — Organizers deemed the Lakewood YMCA’s annual Snowflake Pickleball Tournament a great success.

The two-day tournament hosted 103 players and seven divisions.

On Saturday, Julia Serbati and Brian Vogel took gold, Kristie and Jamie Steffan took silver, and Nora and Travis Lodyga took bronze in the 3.0 and Under Coed Doubles.

In the Men’s 3.5 Doubles, Kumar Ghimirey and Rob Johnson took gold, Randy and Tom Rinke who took silver, and George Petrella and John Love took bronze.

In the Women’s 3.5 Doubles, Amy McKeown and Christal Rosel took gold, Margot Hickey and Caren Barnes took silver, and Amy Murray and Holly Christiano took bronze. The night ended smoothly with 3.5 Mixed Doubles. Margot Hickey and Patrick Schneider took gold followed by Liza Say and Will Craddock taking silver, and Robyn Owens and Kumar Ghimirey taking bronze.

The tournament finished Sunday evening with the 4.0 Mixed Doubles. Michele Barratt and Gary Conroy took gold followed Jon and Becky Cable taking silver, and Jonathan Schwandt and Sarah Woods earning bronze.

Two divisions competed Sunday morning. In Men’s 4.0 Doubles, brothers Landon and Logan Williams took gold, followed by Jonathan Prasa and Matt Pfender taking silver, and Tom Maley and Eddie Mas taking bronze. In Women’s 4.0 Doubles, Brooke Peters and Michele Barratt took gold, followed by Stefanie Powell and Gabrielle Hergert taking silver, and Marlene Sandberg and Sarah Woods taking bronze.
