Corporate Cup Soccer Showcase is July 23

Rosters have been finalized for the four New York teams that will take part in the NY/PA Corporate Cup Soccer Showcase on Sunday, July 23 at Allegany-Limestone High School.

This year will be the seventh for the boys games and sixth for the girls games. The Boys Silver match will kick off at noon with the Girls Silver match to follow at 2:30 p.m. The Boys Gold match will begin at 5 p.m. and the Girls Gold match will conclude the day’s activities at 7:30 p.m.

Student-athletes from 45 schools in northwestern Pennsylvania and southwestern New York tried out for the games. In its first year, the NY/PA Corporate Cup featured just 10 schools. The eight teams on July 23 will feature 176 players. The Silver matches were added last year to highlight double the number of players.

Allegany-Limestone’s Jon Luce will be the head coach of the New York Gold boys team with Portville’s J.J. McIntosh, Bolivar-Richburg’s Mike Silker and Allegany-Limestone’s Matt Fidurko as his assistants.

The New York boys Gold team features seniors Connor Murray and Zack Carr from Frewsburg; freshman Cooper Freeman from Randolph; sophomore Lincoln Carpenter of Jamestown; senior Eli Moore and junior Keegan Rishel of Maple Grove; juniors Sam Edwards, William Benatovich and Aiden Harrington of Ellicottville; sophomore Connor Young of Southwestern; seniors Eric Spring, Zach Luce, Tyler Griffin and Jack Conroy and junior Sean Conroy of Allegany-Limestone; seniors Mitch Ward and Damon Wood of Fillmore; juniors Alex Linderman and Andre Fratercangelo of Olean; senior Cole Faulkner of Portville; senior Zander Terhune of Pioneer; and junior Reiss Gaines of Bolivar-Richburg.

Frewsburg’s Scott Stone will be the head coach of the New York Gold boys team with Frewsburg’s Chad Chitester and Ryan Deppas, Allegany-Limestone’s Dale MacArthur, Hinsdale’s John Fitzpatrick and Bolivar-Richburg’s Mark Emery assisting him.

The New York girls Gold team features Frewsburg seniors Alex Hultberg, Jacey Cappa and Ashlyn Samuelson, and juniors Addison Hultberg and Gracie Conlan; Falconer senior Kayla Lynn; Jamestown senior Karryne Mims and junior Ella Propheter; Ellicottville juniors Audrey Hurlburt and Brooke Butler; Allegany-Limestone senior Olivia Paterniti and sophomores Chloe Baker, Addison Fisher and Abby Peck; Olean senior Lily Schena; Fillmore senior Malory DeRock and juniors Preslee Miller, Hope Russell and Grace Russell; Genesee Valley senior Adison Grusendorf; Hinsdale senior Fransisca Childs; and Belfast sophomore Hannah Southwick-Powers.

Olean’s Max Linderman will be the head coach of the New York boys Silver team with Luce, Zilker and Fidurko his assistants.

The New York boys Silver team features Jamestown juniors Noah Burch and Tyler Maloney; Falconer senior Alex Hudson and junior Finley Pavlock; Southwestern junior Jonas Gesing; Maple Grove junior Gavin Rodgers and sophomore Drew Oste; Ellicottville junior EJ Doherty and sophomores Ben Edwards and Owen Doherty.

Also, Allegany-Limestone juniors Jesse Decker, Connor Ellison and sophomores Zander Parsons, Carson Kwiatkowski and Luke Griffin; Olean junior Trevor Crouch; Hinsdale senior Preston Jackson and freshman Robert Childs; Bolivar-Richburg juniors David Abdo, Aydin Sisson and Cayden Gaines; and Genesee Valley sophomore Evan Turybury.

Emery will be the head coach of the New York girls Silver team with MacArthur, Stone and Fitzpatrick as his assistants.

The New York girls Silver team features Randolph senior Alaina Bunker and sophomore Quinn Pence; Salamanca seniors Mariah Downey and Grace Hodara; Portville junior Mackenzie Harmon, sophomore Emily Collins and eighth-grader Grace Gariepy; Olean senior Jezerae Fayson, junior Lexi Benjamin and freshman Mallory Carter; Franklinville senior Sarah Courtney and junior Olivia Frank; Allegany-Limestone freshman Mackenzie Rhodes; Scio juniors Jenn Dickens and Lexi Crossley; Cuba-Rushford senior Taylor Searle and sophomore Cloey Larabee; Belfast senior Anna Drozdowski and sophomore Danika Scott; and Wellsville junior Lauren Viglietta and freshmen Jaden Dunbar and Ayla Faulkner.

A NY/PA Corporate Cup alumni game will take place Saturday, July 22 at Allegany-Limestone High School.

Pennsylvania rosters will be announced next week after the final tryout session this coming Sunday.
