Friday's boys basketball game came down to the final 20 seconds before Eisenhower could relax and the crowd could take a breath as the Knights held off Cochranton 66-60 on Senior Night.

The two teams have now split the regular-season games -- the Cardinals won the first meeting by four points on their home court -- but they made it interesting on the road, rallying from a 56-36 deficit with 4:25 remaining. They closed to within 63-60 with 21 seconds left, but Kael Hunt hit one of two free throws and Kris Bunk scored a bucket under the hoop with 6 seconds left to finally secure the victory.

In the final period, the Knights were 15 of 26 from the charity stripe, including 5 of 6 from Wyatt Lookenhouse, who finished with 20 points. Until the frantic four minutes, the hosts were in control, leading 13-8 after the first quarter, 27-15 at halftime and 44-28 to start the fourth quarter after freshman Gavin Lindemuth scored 6 points to end the period

In addition to Lookenhouse, also hitting double figures for the Knights were Hunt with 17 points, including 7 of 12 from the foul line, and Bunk with 12. Chase Miller led the Cardinals with 26 points.

"Cochranton is always well-prepared when they play and we executed very well for three and a half quarters," Eisenhower coach Ryan Mangini said. "I was proud of our guys for staying calm in a tense game. I thought all three of our seniors -- Lookenhouse, Hunt and Logan Fincher -- played well in their last home game."

In the junior varsity game, the Cardinals beat the Knights 31-24. Eisenhower was led by Lindemuth with 12 points. Dawson Matt had 10 points for Cochranton.
