Wismar leads Eisenhower runners with 37th-place finish
HARBORCREEK — The Eisenhower varsity and junior high cross country teams ran in the Northwest Pennsylvania Invitational at Community Park on Saturday.
The Knights varsity girls runners were led by Kierra Wismar, who finished in 27:20, which was good for 37th place. Teammates Madison Cathcart and Peyton Kellogg finished in 25:24 and 24:25, respectively, which was good for 92nd and 93rd place.
For the Knights varsity boys, Trenton Courtney finished in 22:58 minutes, which was good for 105th-place finish. Teammates J.E. Unida and T.J. McAuley finished in 23:56 and 25:25, respectively.
The junior high girls runners had a good day. Finishing in 18th place and bringing home a medal was Isabelle Grosch with a time of 13:32. Teammate Bryn Lindell also medaled by finishing in 25th place with a time of 14:01.
The junior high boys also brought home a medal when Easton Fitzgerald finished in 21st place with a time of 11:53. Teammate Alex Lund finished in 13:05 and took 49th place.
